ASICS America Corporation and its parent company, ASICS Corporation of Japan, have announced the extension of their multi-year partnership with New York Road Runners, as the official apparel and footwear sponsor of the ING New York City Marathon.

ASICS will continue to develop and market a co-branded ING New York City Marathonb apparel and accessory collection, which will include performance and novelty merchandise. This collection allows participants and fans from all over the world to acquire a keepsake from the most recognized name in marathon events, while experiencing the quality and performance of ASICS(R) products. As part of the agreement, ASICS will outfit more than 16,000 volunteers with official ING New York City Marathonb apparel. In addition, ASICS will sponsor other New York Road Runners events, including the Grand Prix Half-Marathon series, the Marathon Tune-Up, and two New York Road Runners long training runs.
