Arc’teryx plans to open its first retail store in Copenhagen, Denmark, next month, as part of the company’s push to open 25 to 30 new stores this year.
Located at Pilestræde 16, the store will measure 443 square meters (4,800 square feet) across two floors and feature a ReBird Service Center offering free repairs, washing, and maintenance services to customers.
“Copenhagen is a world-renowned architecture and design hub, home to an authentic outdoor community that deeply values performance,” said Tobia Prevedello, General Manager EMEA, in a statement. “With our first brand store in Denmark, we are creating a hub to connect directly with this community. Our mission is to support our guests year-round — not only with our highest-level technical gear, but through community-led activities and our ReBird Service Center to extend the life of their products and enhance their outdoor pursuits.”
At the company’s Investor Day last November, Amer Sports, Arc’teryx’s parent, said Arc’teryx plans to double its global store count from approximately 150 to around 300 by 2030.
Beyond offering Arc’teryx’s full product range, the store will feature a dedicated community area for hosting events, film screenings and workshops, including a local map showing the best places for climbing, hiking and trail running in and around Copenhagen.
