ArcTeryx has promoted several of its principal employees.

Long time designer Tom Fayle has been promoted to Director of Product Design. An accomplished outdoor athlete, Fayle was part of the original ArcTeryx apparel development team and has spent most the last decade developing innovative product solutions.

Janice Larsen has been elevated to Director of Product Engineering. Drawing on her wide experience in the production world, Larsen’s skills have been instrumental in commercializing some of the unique product constructions for which ArcTeryx is renowned.

Long recognized for his ability to manage multiple projects and never-ending schedules, Lance Richardson, formerly the Director of Product Planning, shifts to the newly created position of Director of Business Development. At his new post Richardson will play a key role in coordinating the efforts between ArcTeryx and its business partners.

Darcy Mercier has been promoted to Director of Manufacturing. Mercier, Production Manager at the ArcTeryx factory for the last three years, will now be involved with all aspects of manufacturing from purchasing to long term planning. The Vancouver factory has over 300 employees and plays a critical role in the development of new technologies and quality standards.

“We have an incredible roster of talented individuals,” said Tyler Jordan, CEO of ArcTeryx. “These are people who helped pioneer the new generation of harnesses, packs, and technical outerwear. Now their skills and experience are better aligned with the areas where they can have maximum impact.”
