Another California lawmaker has introduced a bill that would mandate safety measure at the state's ski resorts, according to a report by SFgate.com.

A bill proposed by Assemblyman Dave Jones, D-Sacramento would require ski areas to publish reports on injuries and deaths, install padding system around lifts and other equipment and require minors and employees to wear helmets, acccording to the news site.

A bill introduced earlier this month by another lawmaker would impose a $25 fine on parents whose kids fail to comply with the law. The ski industry opposes the bill. Jones is running for state Insurance Commissioner.
