Alterra Mountain Company announced that David Flueck assumed the role of chief customer officer and president of Ikon Pass. With over two decades of experience in travel and hospitality, Flueck will lead customer engagement, sales, marketing, and communications for the multi-destination ski and snowboard pass that “connects Alterra destinations with partner mountains.”

Most recently, Flueck served as global officer of Loyalty, Cards and New Businesses at Marriott International. There, he created and led the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, which serves a reported 270 million travelers worldwide. He also developed a global loyalty “ecosystem” with 31 credit cards and over 60 partnerships. Flueck also spearheaded several new ventures, including Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors and Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques.
