Allen Edmonds is celebrating its 90th anniversary and has announced special pricing as part of the celebration.

Founded in Belgium, WI, Allen Edmonds first began making shoes in America on April 23, 1922. Last year, Allen Edmonds had a record sales year that resulted in 160 new retail, manufacturing and logistics jobs in the USA. The company also recently announced a multi-store license and export deal with a China retailer, which is expected to add more Wisconsin manufacturing jobs later this year.

“This sale is a giant thank you to all our loyal customers and friends for driving our recent business success,” said Paul Grangaard, President and CEO of Allen Edmonds. “From April 16 – 30, we're celebrating our 90th Anniversary by offering a 19.22 percent discount or $90 off select styles and branded accessories from our Allen Edmonds stores, our website and at participating retailers nationwide.”

“We have a lot to be thankful for,” said Grangaard. “We are celebrating 90 years as an American-made company and we're also creating jobs at a time when many are struggling to maintain employment.”

Every pair of Allen Edmonds shoes is handcrafted, often by second or third generation leather cutters, master sewers and burnishers. For 90 years, the company's classic business shoes have been the shoe of choice for professional men across the world; in fact, every U.S. President since Ronald Reagan has worn Allen Edmonds shoes, earning it the nickname of the “Inauguration shoe,” as well as the “first interview shoe.”

The company's portfolio has expanded significantly in recent years to include innovative and versatile casual shoes, stylish boots, and designs that demonstrate their commitment to push design boundaries without sacrificing quality. Last year, Allen Edmonds re-entered the golf shoe market with their Honors Collection. The new golf collection has been developed and promoted with the help of golf legends Jack Nicklaus and Ben Crenshaw.
