In the new COO role, Melton will oversee sales, human resources, supply chain, manufacturing, product development and engineering, quality, service and parts, lean and custom outfitters.

“Bryan’s appointment marks a pivotal moment for Airstream,” said Bob Wheeler, president and CEO at Airstream. “His leadership and deep understanding of our business will help us build stronger connections across our operations and position us for long-term success. I’m confident that Bryan will bring the clarity, focus and energy needed to drive our mission forward.”

Also, effective as of October 1, 2025, Airstream announced the promotion of Josh Fonner to VP, president of Sales, a position previously held by Melton.

Fonner has served as Airstream’s Central Region sales director since 2019. Airstream noted in a media release that “under his tenure, the region experienced nearly 10 percent growth, expanding its product mix and more than doubling its exclusive store count.”

“Josh’s passion for the Airstream brand and his commitment to our dealer network have been evident in every aspect of his work,” said Melton “He brings a deep understanding of our customers and a strategic mindset that will be invaluable as we continue to grow. I’m excited to partner with him in this next chapter.”

Under this new structure, Melton, as well as the chief marketing officer and vice president of Finance, will continue to report to Wheeler.
