Adidas Outdoor appointed three sales agencies to represent the company in key territories for its U.S. launch: BP Associates in the Midwest, the Helaman Group in the Rockies, and the Frontier Group Inc. in the Northwest.

BP Associates will have five representatives involved with the Adidas brand in the nine-state Western Lakes area of the Midwest. The company consists of partners Bill Kaplan and Padden plus Adam Argetsinger, Daniel Moser, and Emily Rach. Jim Daley runs the offices.

“Adidas has built their company around helping athletes to perform better,” said Kaplan. “We are excited to be part of introducing that wealth of technical expertise to the American outdoors.”

Jon VanNoy and his Helaman Group will represent the four-state Rocky Mountain territory. VanNoy is new to the outdoor industry but very experienced in the sporting goods business. “Jon brings a business acumen and fresh perspective to our industry that we welcome,” said Director of Sales Larry Harrison.

Frontier Group Inc. will handle the five-state Northwest territory, bringing five representatives to the task. The company is made up of principals John Morioka and Scott Ohsman with representation by Jennifer Eggleston, Jenna Wadkins, and Charlie Williams. Frontier's Morioka said, “Our team feels there is a need for adidas Outdoor's emphasis on athletic style that will lead to rapid acceptance.”
Effective fall 2011, adidas will enter the US Outdoor market with a newly developed range of footwear, apparel and accessories, including the TERREX concept, which debuted in Europe in 2009 to great reviews. The collection will be available in the US at selected Outdoor specialty retailers and in adidas own Sport Performance stores starting fall 2011. Long-time adidas partner Agron Inc. will be the official and exclusive distributor for adidas Outdoor products in the U.S.
