Adidas has launched the #miZXFLUX app, which enables
sneaker customization, in the U.S.

Limited only by imagination, the highly anticipated #miZXFLUX app puts the power of design in the hands of the consumer to apply any image in the world to the infinitely versatile ZXFLUX model. Infinite Possibilities.

With either an iOS or Android device, users will be able to take new photographs and apply them to the ZXFLUX’s upper, with a seamless user interface from start to finish.

Once their design is selected, a 360° 3D preview will allow users to rotate, scale and position their design until it’s just right, with the ability to then save and share their designs on social networks and more.

Beginning today Nov. 11, users in the U.S. will be able to purchase a pair of custom ZXFLUX shoes through the #miZXFLUX app. Orders take 4-6 weeks. 110USD.

To celebrate the U.S. launch of the #miZXFLUX customizable app and next chapter in the ZX story, Adidas Originals is opening the ZXFLUX Experience exhibition in New York City.

ZXFLUX Experience

Infinite Possibilities will come alive in a never before seen visual experience. With full projection mapping technology, a massive ZXFLUX sculpture (10 X 4 X 5) will continuously be transformed over and over again with striking video, imagery and human interaction.

Along the walls of the space will be the past, present and future of the silhouette: a history of ZX, the original ZXFLUX colorways and inline prints, along with a new limited edition ZXFLUX print pack made exclusively for the occasion. There will also be inspiring #miZXFLUX shoe creations by photographers, (Atiba Jefferson, Brock Fetch, Jenah Yamamoto) athletes (Derrick Rose, David Beckham, Von Miller, Sammy Watkins) and other creators from around the world.

Visitors will also get a chance to create with the visualization stations. After users manipulate different images and designs to their liking, an actual ZXFLUX will be transformed instantly by projection mapping.

The adidas Originals ZX Flux experience is located at 138 Wooster Street, New York, NY. Open Friday November 14th to Sunday November 23, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.

NYC Basketball Pack

As a salute to New York City basketball, adidas Originals has created a three shoe limited print pack that will drop exclusively at the event. The designs draw inspiration from both professional team colors and street basketball. Available for purchase and sold in the space, 100USD.
