Academy Sports + Outdoors opened its first store in Matthews, NC, located at 2314 Matthews Township Parkway. The store is approximately 66,000 square feet and brings over 100 new jobs to the community. Academy Sports + Outdoors now has 12 stores throughout North Carolina and four in the Charlotte metropolitan area.
