3M announced today that Inge Thulin, vice president, Europe and Middle East, has been appointed executive vice president, International Operations. Thulin succeeds Joseph Giordano, who has announced his retirement from 3M.
“3M's international capabilities are second to none, and Inge Thulin is a strong leader who will help us sustain strong sales and profit growth outside the United States,” said Jim McNerney, chairman of the board and CEO.
Herman E. Nauwelaerts, division vice president, Occupational Health and Environmental Safety Division, has been named to succeed Thulin as vice president, Europe and Middle East.
