24 Hour Fitness announced on July 26, 2016 that they will introduce a Team USA Bootcamp into all club markets next month, as the Rio 2016 Olympic Games begin.

Team USA Bootcamp is inspired by Team USA athletes, and the five distinguished “Team 24” U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Team athletes announced by 24 Hour Fitness earlier this year. The 50-minute program is a fast-moving, interval strength circuit-style workout that delivers total body conditioning, core challenges and mental training. The mix of workout movements begins with a group warm-up, moving briskly into a cardio challenge, lower and upper-body circuits and a core circuit.

“In our relationship with Team USA, we are extremely moved by the inspiring and relatable athlete stories,” said Lashaun Dale, Vice President of Content and Programming for 24 Hour Fitness. “The Team USA Bootcamp helps us channel the energy and motivation we get from these athletes, particularly during the Olympic and Paralympic Games, in order to inspire our own fitness journeys.”

“We’ve noticed that our members are more compelled to accelerate their gym workouts during the Olympic Games. When we witness greatness at its best during the Rio Games, we want to step up our game too. This program delivers an excellent opportunity to do just that,” Dale noted.
