Peak Design, based in San Francisco, ranked second in Outside Magazine’s “The 50 Best Places to Work in 2018,” just behind Southwest Michigan First, the economic development organization based in Kalamazoo, MI.
Other vendors making the list included Ergodyne, ranked 5; and SportRx, 24. Earning honorable mention were CamelBak, Eagle Creek, SlideBelts and Stio. Powder7.com, the online ski shop based in Colorado, landed at 35.
Public relation firms in the industry making the list included GroundFloor Media, 8; Backbone Media, 20; and Turner, 34. Uproar PR earned honorable mention.
The rest of the companies listed included a number of firms in advertising, finance, travel, software and outdoor advocacy groups.
