110%, which makes compression and sports recovery gear designed to work with ice inserts, hired Barry Kahn as clinical director for the company. In the position, Kahn will lead the development and launch of 110%’s Clinical Partnership Program, which will expand the brand’s distribution into strategic physical therapy and medical channels.

“We are pleased to welcome Barry to the 110% family and open an exciting new chapter for the brand with the launch of our Clinical Partnership Program,” said 110% President, Austin Chow. “Barry brings a wealth of experience and knowledge rooted in the development and execution of strong supply chain solutions. He carries a significant track record of success and will be an instrumental leader as we continue to position ourselves for long-term success and growth as a team.”

Kahn joins 110% after spending the last 18 years with Medline Industries, the largest privately held medical supplier in the country. While at Medline, Kahn engineered and managed some of the largest custom supply chain solutions focused primarily in the Southeastern United States.  His experience also includes executing comprehensive sales programs, managing key accounts and directing supply logistics relationships with facilities throughout the healthcare continuum – including hospitals, surgery centers, homecare locations and long term care facilities – in order to achieve all patient care goals.

Kahn’s range of experience make him the perfect fit to spearhead 110%’s new Clinical Partnership Program, a platform that supports the improvement of patient outcomes through significantly better compliance with prescribed R.I.C.E. therapy treatments. 110%’s premium Compression + Ice products offer physicians, clinicians and therapists a vehicle to provide a simple, mobile and effective solution for post-surgical pain, injury recovery and injury prevention, allowing for specific product recommendations tailored for optimal patient outcome. The Clinical Partnership Program functions on a non-stock basis, removing costly inventory risk and promoting incremental revenue opportunities for all clinical partners.

“I am delighted to join 110%. It’s not often that one comes across a product that is more ideally suited for the clinical recovery space than 110%’s Compression + Ice offering, and with it we are bringing a new standard of care to the market,” describes Kahn. “Therapists and patients are looking for solutions to the age-old problems of effectively complying with R.I.C.E. therapy protocols. Not only do we provide the optimal solution for patient compliance and treatment, but our model also supports clinical practices by filling the financial hole created by the variable insurance rates clinics are forced to absorb on a regular basis. 110% truly has all of the necessary pieces to be incredibly successful in the healthcare market.”

A Florida native, Kahn graduated with a degree in Economics from Florida State University and resides in Jacksonville with his wife, Missy, and two daughters, Amanda and Emma.

In its’ third year of existence, 110% has gained a strong customer base of runners, cyclists, triathletes and fitness enthusiasts.
