Hilco Vision, the provider of eyewear and eye care products, hired Dan Brown as its new digital marketing strategist responsible for its consumer brands: Croakies, Jonathan Paul Eyewear and Leader Swim.

Brown joins Hilco Vision from Seattle-based K2 Sports where he previously served as the global marketing manager for the Line Skis and Full Tilt ski boots brands. An accomplished photographer, Brown also owns and operates Kapitol Photography, a photography business specializing in commercial and editorial photography. Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Saint Michael’s College.

“We couldn’t be happier to welcome Dan to Hilco Vision and the Croakies, Jonathan Paul, and Leader swim brands, explains Chris McCullough, Hilco Vision’s director of consumer brand marketing. “He brings a wealth of knowledge in the digital space when it comes to aligning core business goals with a cohesive digital marketing strategy, and I have no doubt he will play an instrumental part in driving our brands forward towards continued growth.”

In his new role with Hilco Vision, Brown will be primarily responsible for managing the branded digital properties for the Croakies, Jonathan Paul Eyewear, and Leader Swim brands respectively.

“I’m very much excited for the opportunity to work with the Croakies, Jonathan Paul Eyewear and Leader Swim brands,” Brown stated. “Each of these brands have their own rich history in developing premium products that have inspired customers throughout the years to explore more of the outdoors.”
